Portugal is situated on the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula and is divided by the River Tagus.
With its long, varied coastline and sunny climate, there is a striking contrast between the north and south regions; from the lush green valleys, mountains, forests and sparkling rivers in the north to the smooth dry plains of the south. Although it is undeniably part of modern Europe, Portugal retains much of its historical charm, particularly in the medieval villages that can be found in the countryside.
The capital Lisbon is a fascinating and lively metropolis; from the Art Nouveau buildings that are spread on broad, tree-lined streets to the cobbled winding alleyways and meandering streets reminiscent of Portugal's medieval history, there is much to be discovered. Lisbon benefits from an excellent location with the white, sandy Atlantic beaches only a 20 minute drive away and the romantic area of Sintra; which used to be the ancient summer residence of the Portuguese kings; is only a 45 minutes transfer away. There is an extensive choice of hotels, either city centre or resort that are perfect for any conference or incentive.
The Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal and is notorious for its glorious year round sunshine and beautiful wide stretches of sandy beach. Vilamoura is the Algarve's main bustling resort area where restaurants, shopping arcades, casino and excellent conference hotels can be found. Faro is the regions capital and great for a day excursion as there is a lot of history to be unravelled. Due to the mild nature of the weather the Algarve is ideal for outdoor activities such as water sports, golf or even a BBQ dinner around the pool.
Madeira Island is a green, subtropical paradise of volcanic origins which is situated in the Atlantic Ocean, 608 Km from Morocco and 1000 Km from Lisbon. It is a popular year-round resort, noted for its Madeiran wine, flowers and embroidery artisans. All of the hotels that we would recommend for your event are 
located just minutes from the city's historic and cultural centre, Funchal, and overlook the sea.
Portugal is served by daily international flights from major airports in Lisbon, Porto and Faro.
