Principal Promotions have won GOLD at the Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards for the FOURTH year in a row!

Monday 28 February 2011 saw the winners of the annual M&IT Industry Awards being announced and Principal Promotions won the GOLD award in the Best Intermediary Agency (less than 40 employees) category.

The Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards is an annual event for the events industry and brings together the various sectors of the industry to reward excellence of service and product.  More than 1,900 organisations were nominated with more than 8,300 votes cast.  The winners are voted for by the clients and readers and show a true reflection of the service provided by the winning and short-listed venues, agencies and suppliers.

For the past three years Principal Promotions have won the GOLD award in the Best Event Management Company (less than 40 employees) category, however in 2011 the competition was greater than before with the formation of Best Intermediary Agency category where event management, venue finding, production, incentive travel and PCO’s were all placed in the same category.  Therefore winning this award is a huge achievement.

This year the event took place at the all-new Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel and was hosted by popular BBC news presenter, Kate Silverton.

Each year the M&IT Awards supports Save The Children, an International Charity.  This year the members of the MICE industry raised over £53,000 towards the charity.
