Successful Familiarisation Trip to Athens

Principal Promotions took some corporate clients to Athens on a familiarisation trip from the 1-4 October 2009.
We spent two nights at the Arion, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa on the beautiful and picturesque peninsula of the Vouliagmeni and one night in the city centre at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, A Luxury Collection Hotel. We visited three other luxury 5 star properties, as well as various dining/activity/excursion options, all suitable for conference and incentive requirements.

The initial perception was that Athens was too far, a bit smoggy and not high profile enough, however after the trip our clients' perceptions had completely changed. They were very impressed with how easy it was to get to Athens, the high standard of accommodation, meeting facilities, food and service and were confident that Athens would prove to be an ideal destination for future events. Our preferred DMC in Athens, Vista Events, ensured that all ground requirements were taken care of and the clients commented on how friendly, knowledgeable and helpful they were.
